We are seeking an experienced
Pricing Analyst
who will be a pivotal member of the Pricing team creating pricing models, running financial analyses, and managing the data and reporting needs of the team. This Pricing Analyst will be focused on building, iterating, and utilizing sophisticated pricing models to support partner pricing requests, Requests for Proposal, and other Pricing team projects and initiatives. The Pricing team is the Firm's centralized task force to support partners with the full spectrum of pricing needs, including the increasing trend of alternative fee arrangements. The Pricing team consists of subject matter experts with the objective of increasing Firm revenue by way of supporting partners through the full pricing lifecycle, from proposal development and internal approvals to client submissions and negotiations to tracking actual costs to finalized budgets. Responsibilities
Develops cost/pricing strategies and budget models to respond to specific requirements of solicitations. Identify opportunities for automation and passive data capture through integration with existing processes and systems. Works with attorneys to develop pricing proposals and budgets, including locating relevant matter experience, data mining historical matters, and drafting pricing-related communications. Completes cost/pricing requirements identified in solicitations. Drives the development of creative pricing solutions to meet client needs and business objectives including the use of alternative fee arrangements. Provides technical expertise in drafting reports and summaries, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and analysis, and preparing presentations. Assists with the maintenance of a negotiation audit trail of changes/adjustments from initial proposal through final price agreement. Assists with cost/price development, monitoring and problem escalation during proposal process, pricing cost narrative, price strategy, risk assessment, and preparation/presentation of management briefings. Writes pricing narratives/justifications. Develops cost/pricing related responses to post-submission questions and requests for revision. Works with internal organizations to determine anticipated labor and overhead rates, material requirements, equipment costs and possible bid strategies. Works closely with internal clients in developing pricing scenarios. Analyzes estimates against previous cost experience and recommends adjustments. Tracks and maintains catalog of previous pricing efforts, including win/loss data and post award statistics. Calendars and organizes rate agreements. Works in collaboration with other members of Finance team to implement and communicate accounting system set ups based upon agreed deal arrangements. Continually protects and maintains confidential and sensitive information. Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business/finance, business administration or related field 0-2 years of professional experience, ideally in pricing, financial analysis, or in a law firm or professional services environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups); PowerPoint and Word. Experience with financial systems and tools such as Aderant, Tableau/Power BI, SQL or similar platforms a plus Ability to leverage AI, such as Co-Pilot, to optimize efficiency Proficiency with meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc., with strong technical skills and the ability to learn new applications quickly. Strong analytical skills, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and the ability to engage with other team members in addressing a variety of accounting, reporting and business issues An enthusiastic, hands-on individual with an ability to assess needs, develop action plans and produce demonstrable results Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to embrace change in a fast-paced team-oriented work environment Unquestionable integrity and ethical behavior Ability to establish credibility rapidly and build political capital with key stakeholders Ability to work well without direct supervision Must have the ability to work well under pressure, meet frequent deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent organizational skills and ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks Strong oral and written communication (including spelling and grammar) and interpersonal skills are required Flexible attitude and the ability to deal well with changing assignments and priorities; willingness to learn and acquire advanced duties, and provide support to varied office members Closing / About the role

The base annual pay range for this role is between $75,000 - $100,000, as well as discretionary bonuses. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity.
