We are looking for an experienced
Director of Plant Operations / Maintenance Director
to join our thriving community in Round Rock, Texas.
Director of Plant Operations / Maintenance Director
Responsibilities
Perform the primary duties to ensure smooth mechanical operations of all facility equipment.
Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for facility equipment.
Monitor the status of building physical equipment and take appropriate actions to remain in compliance with OSHA and fire regulations.
Inspect, maintain, and test fire alarm and emergency systems; maintain records of test results.
Maintain heating and cooling systems in proper working condition; inspect systems before seasonal changes and pre-start for proper operation.
Maintain repair logs and provide timely corrective actions.
Maintain drain, access areas, grease traps, waste areas, and mechanical rooms.
Assist in determining departmental staffing and contribute to budget planning and wage decisions.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Associate degree in vocational field and/or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, architectural engineering, refrigeration, heating and cooling, or plumbing preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a maintenance-related role
HVAC experience required
Must be local to Texas
Must be licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
