Job posting details: Senior Director of Annual Giving. This role is open to all applicants and is based on the UT Austin main campus. The position is full-time (40 hours/week), exempt under FLSA, with an immediate start date. Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS. Responsibilities

Execute a comprehensive Annual Giving Program including direct mail, email, texting, social media, crowdfunding, video, and other channels. Collaborate with the University Development team to support pipeline building and identify major gift prospects for referral and cultivation across campus. Manage a reporting system providing regular analysis of annual giving effectiveness (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual). Ensure timely, personalized donor acknowledgment and annual giving stewardship processes. Analyze data to develop insights and fundraising strategies; segment audiences for campaigns and engagement across channels. Monitor metrics to achieve annual giving goals (total giving, alumni participation, donor retention, by appeal/segment/channel). Maintain dashboards to track performance and inform solicitation strategy. Develop strategic partnerships across campus to identify and support annual giving opportunities. Coordinate with Marketing and Communications to align campaign calendars with overall communication strategy. Grow the donor pipeline and advance donor retention, moving first gifts toward leadership giving levels. Manage an annual giving budget to support strategic initiatives. Support strategies to grow President’s Associates giving program. Translate fundraising goals and donor insights into creative briefs; provide feedback on concepts. Collaborate with production/design teams to align timelines with strategy. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Deep knowledge of direct marketing channels. Strategic recommendations and adjustments grounded in data analytics and results. Strong people management skills. High integrity and servant leadership. Driven by mission and impact. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications

At least three to five years of experience leading Annual Giving teams at a major university. Strategic, analytics-minded, data-driven; able to drive KPIs. Demonstrated lifelong learning (certifications or advanced degrees such as MBA) or equivalent. Compensation and Working Conditions

Salary Range: $130,000+ depending on qualifications. Standard office environment; some evenings and weekends may be required during peak periods and events.
