Description Rosina Food Products is a growing, family‑owned food manufacturer seeking a
Business Development Lead – Foodservice
to support and expand our Southeast territory.
This role is highly field‑focused and ideal for a foodservice sales professional who is comfortable managing brokers, building customer relationships, and driving product growth across distributors and operators.
Location: Can live anywhere within territory but ideal locations would be
Georgia or Tennessee Travel: Approximately
50%+ within territory
Responsibilities: Live within Southeast Area
Own and grow foodservice sales within a multi‑state Southeast region
Manage, support, and hold foodservice sales brokers accountable
Conduct regular business reviews with brokers and distributor partners
Drive product placement and cutting in new items at the operator and distributor level
Spend approximately
4 days per week in the field with customers
and
1 day on administrative/office work
Travel approximately
50% within the assigned territory
Attend foodservice food shows, expos, conferences, and industry events
Present confidently to executives, chefs, operators, and ownership groups
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Demand Planning
Prepare basic reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
Qualifications: Minimum
5 years of foodservice sales experience with a 4‑year College Degree or 8‑10 years of foodservice field sales
Experience selling within foodservice manufacturing or working directly with brokers and distributors
Strong understanding of distributor networks;
Unipro familiarity preferred
Comfortable managing broker relationships and driving accountability
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Proficiency in
basic Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently in a travel‑based, results‑driven role
