As a
Traveling Superintendent , you'll be the boots‑on‑the‑ground leader for commercial construction projects across multiple states. Osborne is a national contractor operating in more than 40 states, so this role requires regular travel with multi‑day stays depending on project location. You'll oversee jobsite operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and with quality. Lodging and travel‑related expenses are provided. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel and working in a fast‑paced, field‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily on‑site operations for commercial construction projects
Coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and to Osborne standards
Communicate regularly with remote project managers and support staff
Maintain detailed daily reports and project documentation
Uphold strict safety protocols and address on‑site issues as needed
Represent Osborne professionally with clients, vendors, and trade partners
Qualifications
Minimum three years of supervisory experience in commercial construction
Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Willingness and ability to travel frequently for 2‑4 weeks at a time (longer if preferred).
Comfortable using Microsoft Teams or basic construction management software
