Description Weiser Memorial Hospital--rated as one of Idaho's best places to work--is looking to hire a PRN Foundation Event Assistant to join our team.

The Foundation Event Assistant performs a variety of duties to provide support for Weiser Memorial Hospital Foundation events. Performs fundraising outreach, special events coordination, and administrative and clerical-related duties as assigned. Participates in performance improvement and quality performance improvement (QPI) activities.

Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize new tasks as they are assigned. Time management and organizational skills. Customer service skills. Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Excellent computer knowledge and skills, including WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook in a Microsoft Windows environment. Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully. Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow throughout all hospital foundation activities. Answers the telephone in a professional manner. Answers general foundation questions; directs other questions/inquiries to appropriate staff for resolution. Demonstrates the ability to perform clerical duties, i.e., computer functions, correspondence, preparing reports, memos, etc. Assists in the coordination of fundraising efforts of the Weiser Hospital by providing support and direction to fundraising development, strategies, and processes. Provides support in running errands, picking up and delivering mail and supplies. Assists in the planning and execution of a variety of fundraising activities, including special events, direct mail solicitations and business solicitations, to raise funds for programs and projects of Weiser Memorial Hospital. Maintains a good working relationship with the hospital's administration, other departments of the hospital, Foundation Board, and the hospital Governing Board. Fosters a positive image for the facility. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills within the facility and with the public. Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful conditions. Performs other duties and works on special projects, as assigned.
