Kforce has a premier client who is searching for an experienced and talented Premium Tax Specialist in San Antonio, TX. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits during the contract engagement.
Responsibilities
Assist with monthly premium tax filings, including assessments and surcharges.
Support compliance with state and local premium tax filing obligations.
Pull and analyze ledger detail from the ERP system to support filings.
Perform Excel-based reconciliations and reporting.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in tax, accounting, or financial reporting.
Experience working with an ERP system (Oracle preferred).
Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliations.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage highly repetitive, deadline-driven work.
Ability to pull and interpret general ledger detail.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
