What They Need (Key Skills)

Strong HL7 FHIR interoperability experience

Experience supporting public health interoperability projects

Ability to work with multiple teams (TDH divisions + State IT / STS)

Knowledge of interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)

Experience with system integration + interface interoperability

Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) infrastructure/architecture

Ability to help build agency readiness for adopting FHIR solutions

Experience creating a FHIR roadmap / strategy

Main Responsibilities

Coordinate and support FHIR interoperability activities

Support HL7 FHIR projects including HL7 Helios FHIR Accelerator focus areas

Query/Response implementation support

Aggregate data priority areas

Support TDH data modernization and interoperability enhancements

Work on informatics projects like: System integration, System interoperability, EHR implementation support, Public health reporting projects

May assist in emergency response situations

Possible presentations / public speaking
