
Consumer Direct Loan Officer

The Consumer Direct Loan Officer is responsible for educating clients on the home-buying or refinances process and providing the highest customer service while taking loan applications to closing.
Responsibilities
Overcome client’s objections and offer advice and solutions on how to better handle their mortgages
Thoroughly answer any questions or needs of the borrowers
Ensure that clients are fulfilling their financial goals and needs
Keep constant communication with clients through the loan process from application to closing

Education And/Or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of sales mortgage experience
This position requires that all licensing requirements are met per the SAFE Act
Encompass experience a plus
Bilingual Spanish a plus
Skills
Excellent telephone, communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
Positive attitude with lots of energy and self-motivation
Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Apps
Various work backgrounds and experience levels
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment and take constructive criticism, coaching and feedback on a consistent basis
Ability to work various schedules and overtime
Ability to forage and maintain excellent working relationships with all members of the team
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage large volume of tasks while providing excellent customer service
Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive or confidential matter
CERTIFICATES, LISENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Complete state and federal requirements including but not limited to pre-license education, state and federal testing and federal background checks to obtain an appropriate license to conduct business in all states deemed necessary by the company.
Complete required continuing education deemed necessary by federal, state and company guidelines.
