
A high-growth wireless technology company supporting advanced unmanned and autonomous platforms is hiring a Sales Engineer to work directly with OEM customers across air, ground, and maritime domains. This role is highly hands-on and customer-facing, supporting technical evaluations, system integration, and field deployments of mission-critical communications technology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical engagement with multiple OEM customers during evaluation and integration phases Support field trials and validation activities, including onsite testing and rapid issue resolution Address performance challenges related to RF behaviour, antenna setups, interference, and networking Guide customers through system configuration and integration into unmanned platforms Maintain clear technical status and next steps to support internal coordination and forecasting Travel regularly to customer sites for workshops, demos, and validation events (up to 50% travel) What We’re Looking For
3+ years experience in a technical role working directly with customers or partners Solid practical understanding of wireless communications systems and networking fundamentals for drones/UAVs Experience supporting the integration of radios or embedded comms into mobile or autonomous platforms Comfortable working in field environments and troubleshooting under real-world conditions US citizenship and US based, West Coast preferred This role sits between the customer success and field engineering domains, providing the unique opportunity to play a key role in helping customers move from early trials to operational use, acting as a trusted technical partner throughout the process.
