Overview
Position: Lead Technical Designer. Reports to the Senior Director, Design Services. Location options: Lewisville, TX; Houston, TX; Duluth, GA; Albany, GA; Knoxville, TN; Winston-Salem, NC; Tampa, FL. Employment: Full-Time, Hybrid. Must have expert level BIM experience and advanced in Revit. Responsibilities
Lead the technical aspects of commercial kitchen design projects, overseeing the development and execution of BIM models. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with high-quality standards. Guide and mentor a team of designers, providing technical expertise and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and address challenges. Execute and oversee BIM modeling tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements; efficiently utilize BIM software tools. Perform final quality control checks on BIM models to maintain design integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architectural and engineering partners, to ensure seamless design integration. Lead clash detection efforts using tools such as Navisworks Manage. Contribute to the creation of comprehensive project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and other technical documents. Ensure project files and folders are organized for efficient data management. Qualifications
Minimum of 3–4 years' experience in a professional BIM environment/department, or equivalent Military or practical experience. Proficiency in advanced computer skills and software: Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, AutoQuotes, KCL, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Preferred Previous Experience In The Foodservice Industry. Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance. Benefits
