Primary Responsibilities
Creating engaging content designed for social media and positioned for target audiences
Posting and managing social media content
Working with student workers to enhance capacity and social media presence
Monitoring engagement, analytics, and making recommendations for optimization
Researching trends and supporting a strategic and engaging social media strategy
Demonstrating sensitivity, knowledge and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, gender, cultural and ethnic backgrounds
Analyzing performance metrics
Follow UMN brand guidelines
Covering evening and weekend activities as appropriate
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or a combination of related education and work experience to equal at least four years
Successful experience creating engaging content for target audience(s)
Experience with social media platforms and familiarity with analytics tools
Familiarity with tools and resources for content production

Pay and Benefits Pay Range:
$23.36 - $31.59; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
