As Egnyte continues to grow and increases focus on driving new customer acquisition with Mid-Market and Enterprise companies, we will look to the Sales Development Manager to build, develop, and continue to lead a team of Sales Development Reps. This group will be responsible for increasing the number of quality opportunities for our growing field sales team. The leader of this team should be very well versed in understanding how to train and develop, not just manage performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Manage and continue to develop a team of sales development reps to deliver and exceed opportunity targets
Execute currently successful processes while developing new tactics to improve efficiency such as supporting reps to develop their geographical sales territories, structuring lead and lag measures, and create daily productivity metrics.
Review team performance and employ strategies and tactics to increase output
Partner with Sales Operations to optimize the use of sales enablement tools
Develop and deliver training programs to help hit key sales objectives by leveraging buying personas, call framing, sales nurturing strategies and cadences.
Create and deliver sales kickoff and quarterly reviews including overall strategy of the sales development team and measuring the lead indicators towards to end goals.
Design and create a sales playbook and learning guide
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years demonstrated success managing sales development and/or lead generation teams
1+ years prior experience in a direct sales or lead generation role
Technical Sales experience. SaaS/Cloud experience strongly preferred.
Experience creating, implementing and reporting metrics
Knowledge of 3rd party lead development resources
Strong understanding of sales process and sales pipeline management
Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
Bachelor’s degree preferred
COMPENSATION: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations and pay varies based on defined markets. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
