
Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Construction Sales Representative for a growing mechanical construction firm with a strong presence in the Alaska market.
This is a
full-time, onsite role (with some flexibility for occasional remote work) based in Anchorage, Alaska . POSITION OVERVIEW
The Construction Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business and expanding mechanical construction projects across the Anchorage market. This role combines relationship-based sales with technical knowledge of mechanical systems, partnering closely with internal estimating, engineering, and project management teams. The ideal candidate is locally connected, proactive, and comfortable owning opportunities from initial pursuit through contract award. PERKS

Identify, pursue, and secure
new mechanical construction and retrofit opportunities in Anchorage and surrounding areas Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, engineers, and facility managers Attend pre-bid meetings, job walks, client presentations, and local industry events Prepare and present sales proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and conceptual estimates Collaborate closely with internal estimating, engineering, and project management teams Maintain an active sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting QUALIFICATIONS
Experience selling within mechanical construction, HVAC, or MEP environments Strong understanding of mechanical systems, plans, specifications, and blueprints Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders Familiarity with union labor environments, prevailing wage, or certified payroll requirements Established presence or professional network within the Anchorage construction market COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
