Overview Magic EdTech is looking for a Business Development professional to support outbound growth initiatives. This role will focus on cold outreach, relationship building, and connecting with prospective clients, particularly

universities and e-learning platforms

working in the

workforce development

space.

The ideal candidate understands

B2B sales , is comfortable with proactive outreach, and can hold meaningful conversations with decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Identify and reach out to prospective clients through cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn outreach

Build relationships with universities, higher education institutions, and e-learning platforms

Engage with stakeholders involved in workforce development and upskilling initiatives

Qualify leads and schedule meetings for deeper sales conversations

Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and follow-ups

Collaborate with internal sales and delivery teams to support deal progression

Requirements

Prior experience in business development, inside sales, or lead generation

Strong experience with cold calling and outbound outreach

Clear understanding of

B2B sales cycles

and client engagement

Comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and decision-makers

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Good to Have

Experience in the EdTech industry

Exposure to higher education, workforce development, or digital learning platforms

Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking
