
Seeking an experienced Product Designer to support the design and development of home-use medical devices. The role focuses on user research, rapid physical and digital prototyping, and translating user, clinical, and regulatory requirements into safe, intuitive, and compliant product designs. This position works closely with engineering, human factors, quality, and regulatory teams.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Designer, Human Factors, or related field Experience designing consumer or home-use products in regulated environments Strong experience in user research, usability testing, and human factors methodologies Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping (physical and digital) Proficiency in Figma for UX, wireframes, workflows, and interaction design Experience with CAD tools and physical model iteration Knowledge of ISO 60601-1-11 (home-use medical devices) Working knowledge of HE75 human factors guidance Key Responsibilities
Lead user research activities including contextual inquiry and usability evaluations Develop and iterate low- to high-fidelity physical and digital prototypes Translate user, clinical, and regulatory requirements into effective UX and industrial design solutions Design GUI elements, workflows, and interaction models for embedded or companion interfaces Collaborate with engineering on CAD-based design and design-for-manufacturability Support usability testing and human factors validation activities Contribute to design documentation supporting verification, validation, and regulatory submissions
