Overview
Our successful hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with a sales mindset to assist in helping grow our hotel. You will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience at our hotel, in addition to attracting new guests to increase our revenue. You'll be in charge of responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. Prospect a list of company and referral leads generated through research, networking, social media, special events Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities Assist sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information Maximize profits by selling more and providing upgrades to guests to ensure they are completely satisfied Establish and maintain communication with customers via phone and email to answer their inquiries and requests Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, and bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred Displays a proven track record of sales success Good organization and time management skills Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively
