Overview
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Ford IT / Development teams to integrate Salesforce across the business.
Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development. Extend those best practices across Ford organizations.
Adhere to established development practices and processes in Ford development teams.
Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
Develop high-quality code that satisfies customer needs and strives for simplicity, clarity, and testability.
Develop Apex (classes and triggers) to extend Salesforce to business requirements.
Custom User Interface development, including Lightning pages and Web Components.
Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other corporate systems following existing standards.
Integrate additional business applications to Salesforce (such as DocuSign/Emplifi/Medialla/GCP/Mulesoft).
Design and implement complex Salesforce solutions, including creating Salesforce flows, entry-criteria/profiles, and data migrations.
Create flows, modify objects, create custom objects, write Apex, triggers and integrate API services using an IDE/VisualSourceCode/Codebuilder.
Collaborate with multicloud architecture experience (Service cloud/Vlocity Omnistudio) and Omni Studio components (Data Raptor, Integration Procedure, Omni Script, Flex Cards, Trigger) with strong hands-on development practices.
Design and implement system integrations involving Salesforce web services (JSON, SOAP) and Vlocity Integration Procedure.
Develop with custom user interfaces including Lightning pages and Web Components.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
4-5 years of software development experience and multicloud architecture experience (Service cloud/Vlocity omnistudio).
Experience with Omni Studio (Data Raptor/Integration procedure/Omni script/Flex card/Trigger), Apex, Lightning Web Components/Aura Components, and managed packages, with strong hands-on development practices.
Experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including creating Salesforce flows, entry-criteria/profiles, and data migrations.
Ability to create flows, modify objects, create custom objects, write Apex, triggers and integrate API services using an IDE/Visual Studio Code/Code Builder.
Understanding of different integration patterns.
Experience with system integrations involving Salesforce.com web services (JSON, SOAP), as well as Vlocity Integration Procedure.
Develop Apex (classes and triggers) to extend Salesforce to business requirements.
Custom User Interface development, including Lightning pages and Web Components.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
Strong proficiency in Salesforce development ecosystem (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Java).
Significant experience in web development environments (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Ability to understand and collaborate on application designs, technology stacks, and business objectives across codebases.
Ability to work independently and with multiple teams; effective communication with stakeholders and developers.
Extensive ability to work with large data sets (ETL processing).
Experience with Salesforce application lifecycle (CI/CD pipelines, including testing).
Ability to write, interpret and critique technical specifications.
Proactive attitude to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks; integrate Salesforce innovations into solutions.
Salesforce at least 2x certified (Salesforce Developer/Omni Script Developer).
Experience in SRE in Copado and ability to architect services with observability, traceability, and monitoring aspects.
Experience in configuring and managing enterprise monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace).
Experience with integration with Cloud PaaS tech stacks (AWS, GCP, Azure).
