The Tour Sales Manager will be responsible for strategically managing all activities within the group tour sales department while maintaining a specific focus on developing new tour experiences and ideas to increase and maximize revenue and building the foundation for tours. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sell, coordinate, market and execute tours Hire, train, develop, and manage a high-quality staff to sell tours Complete sales negotiations to increase bookings; coordinate invoices and payments Assist in creation of new group programs and events that increase sales opportunities and overall group tickets/revenue Proactively create opportunities for new business with tours and theme days Collaborate with local business, schools, churches, corporations, travel, and tourism groups Respond in a timely manner to calls, inquiries, and emails related to the above areas of responsibility and general information requests as needed Complete all aspects of event coordination for tour related activities Provide superior customer service to clients and prospects Develop and maintain strong working relationship with tour operations staff, tour guides and management Represent Legends Global at community events for purpose of maximizing sales opportunities Other duties as assigned by management SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in a related area of study preferred and 1-2 years’ related experience of groups sales (sports, attractions, or hotel industry preferred) Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Skills and Abilities
Able to make individual sales while effectively managing a sales team Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects Quick learner with ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to work well with and manage different personalities Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic and outgoing personality with a creative, and a proactive approach to work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Background in hospitality or management (hotel or event), event planner a plus Knowledge of Archtics/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have strong writing and organizational skill Working knowledge of local/regional markets, venue operations, and special events industries Excellent self-accountability for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism Experience in a union work environment preferred Must have sufficient mobility to perform tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays including all games and major stadium events Must have the ability to lift, push, pull approximately 25lbs Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours during a single shift, while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators COMPENSATION
Competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 plus bonus potential commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan. WORKING CONDITIONS
