The Voice Village is looking for a Video Editor – YouTube & Podcasts (Long-form + Shorts) to join the team and help us build some of the most powerful video podcasts in Spanish. About The Voice Village The Voice Village is a production company specialized in podcasts and multiplatform audiovisual formats. We work with talent, brands, and platforms to turn great ideas into projects with real impact, from concept to distribution across all screens. Role Mission This role is not just about editing—it’s about storytelling designed for YouTube and social platforms, optimized to keep audiences engaged until the very end. We’re looking for someone who thinks in terms of hooks, retention, and clicks, not just clean cuts and good music. You’ll work on podcasts and conversation-based formats (entertainment, sports, brands, etc.) with strong growth ambitions and a constant presence on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. Responsibilities Record podcasts (audio and video): cameras, basic audio setup, and set control. Edit long-form episodes optimized for retention and the YouTube viewing experience (chapters, pacing, structure). Create short-form content (shorts, reels, clips) with strong hooks in the first seconds. Adapt content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, etc., following best practices for each platform. Design titles, lower thirds, graphics, and thumbnails with a focus on clarity and CTR. Upload and publish content: titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, playlists, and cards. Analyze metrics (retention, CTR, watch time, thumbnail clicks) and propose continuous improvements. Suggest new dynamics, segments, and native formats for digital platforms. Requirements Proven experience editing video for YouTube (podcasts, interviews, talk shows, or similar formats). Proficient with Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience creating content for social media (vertical and horizontal). Basic knowledge of audio. Ability to work in an organized and autonomous way. Creative and data-driven mindset: you enjoy reviewing metrics to improve every new piece of content. Nice to Have (not required, but a plus): Basic motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar). Knowledge of the creator, influencer, sports, or entertainment ecosystem. What We Offer The opportunity to work on high-visibility projects with real growth ambitions on YouTube and social platforms. A creative and collaborative environment with room to propose and test ideas. Growth opportunities within the production company and the chance to consolidate a key role in the digital area. Work arrangement to be defined based on profile (collaboration/freelance or staff position). Compensation aligned with experience and the value you bring. How to Apply Send your portfolio (channels, projects, reels, before/after examples, etc.) and your CV . In the body of the email, briefly tell us: Your experience working with YouTube and video podcasts. 1–2 links to projects you’re especially proud of. What you think a video podcast needs today to grow sustainably on YouTube and social platforms.
