Sales Support Specialist - Customer Success & Revenue Growth Our client, a thriving food industry company in Lawrence, MA, is seeking a

Sales Support Specialist

to deliver exceptional customer service while driving sales opportunities and revenue growth. This full-time, on-site position (local candidates only) combines customer engagement excellence with proactive sales support.

What You'll Do

Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat using Zendesk CRM while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Proactively convert customer interactions into sales leads, track opportunities, and follow up to meet monthly revenue goals

Resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy while recommending products and services aligned to customer needs

Prepare monthly customer service reports and sales performance analytics, presenting trends and insights to leadership

Develop FAQs, knowledge base articles, and process improvements to enhance customer experience and sales efficiency

Collaborate cross-functionally on time-sensitive requests, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving business priorities

Support the sales team with order processing, customer account management, and sales data tracking

What You Need

2+ years of customer service experience

in B2C environments with proven

sales achievement

or

lead generation

Proficiency in

Microsoft Office Suite

(Outlook, Excel, Word) and hands-on experience with

Zendesk

and

e-commerce platforms

Outstanding

communication skills

(verbal and written) with expertise in

active listening ,

relationship building , and

consultative selling

Strong

problem-solving abilities , attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset that transitions naturally to sales conversations

Ability to

multitask , meet deadlines, and work independently in a

team environment

Knowledge of and genuine interest in the

food industry
