As a Public Sector Account Executive, you will champion the adoption of process automation across the DACH public sector, bringing innovation, transparency, and efficiency to government agencies. Join a collaborative team that values initiative, customer focus, and the drive to make a real difference on our customers’ digital transformation.
What You Will Do
Build and expand relationships with public sector decision-makers, acting as a trusted partner on their digital transformation journey.
Own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, to drive the adoption of Camunda’s automation solutions.
Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans, leveraging your network to identify opportunities and deliver results.
Collaborate across technical, product, and customer success teams to ensure value realization and customer satisfaction.
Navigate complex negotiations and public procurement processes with resilience and professionalism.
Represent Camunda at industry events, advocating for Camunda’s portfolio with compelling communication and presentations.
Must Haves
Strong track record in software sales, driving five to six digit ARR projects.
Demonstrable experience with Public Sector evaluation and procurement methods.
Well-established network within Germany’s public sector.
Highly self-motivated with a “Manager of One” mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively.
Expert customer focus, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proven drive for results and resilience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
Nice To Haves
Background in automation technology, workflow software, or process orchestration.
Experience with open source business models and communities.
Startup or scale-up context experience.
Compensation & Benefits We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets reflecting local competition. The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. Final offers depend on skills, experience, and location, and we typically hire in the first half of the range to allow room for growth.
United States: $185,000 to $298,200
Germany: €119,500 to €197,700
United Kingdom: £116,100 to £191,000
Singapore: S$229,700 to S$344,600
