A client of Insight Global is currently hiring two ambitious Research Editors to join a growing editorial team dedicated to producing high‑quality, peer‑reviewed scientific content across major therapy areas. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals with a strong life sciences background who are passionate about scientific communication, publishing, and staying on top of emerging research. This is a fast‑paced, research‑heavy editorial role with significant opportunities for professional development, conference attendance, and even authorship on publications.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily literature searches using PubMed, Google Scholar, and SEO‑driven keyword strategies to identify emerging research and trending topics across therapy areas. Produce clear, accurate, and engaging written content for healthcare professionals, including daily articles, news updates, and long‑form editorial pieces. Translate complex scientific information into accessible summaries suitable for doctors, nurse practitioners, and other medical audiences. Support the editorial workflow for both daily publications and an annual journal, including formatting, proofreading, and preparing manuscripts for publication. Attend relevant scientific conferences to report on new findings and identify hot topics for future content. Work with marketing and internal teams to ensure content visibility and alignment with audience needs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life sciences discipline (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Endocrinology, or any related fields). Experience in research, lab work, or academic scientific environments. Background in editorial work, scientific writing, copywriting, or assisting with publications. Familiarity with peer‑reviewed journals and the publication process. Strong ability to read, interpret, and summarize scientific literature. Strong attention to detail and comfort working independently after initial training. Interest in scientific communication, publishing, or a career in healthcare within editorial publication work.
