We are looking for a strategic yet highly executional
Retail Marketing Manager
to drive growth across our national retail partners, with a focus on beauty and specialty channels. This role is ideal for someone who loves building powerful in-store experiences, understands how to turn brand strategy into shopper-facing moments, and is energized by collaborating closely with sales, creative, and retail partners to win at shelf. In this role, you will own the development and execution of retail marketing programs that increase awareness, drive traffic, and convert shoppers across key accounts (e.g., specialty beauty, prestige, and select mass retailers). You’ll manage the full lifecycle of retail programs—from planning and asset development through installation, performance tracking, and optimization. Key Responsibilities
Translate brand and commercial objectives into retailer-specific marketing calendars and activation plans. Develop tailored concepts for launches, promotions, campaigns, and seasonal storytelling across key retailers. Align programs to retailer priorities, shopper insights, and category dynamics to maximize impact. In-Store Activation & Visual Execution Own the execution of in-store marketing initiatives, including endcaps, gondolas, shelf signage, sampling, and promotional displays. Partner with visual merchandising and creative teams on fixture updates, planograms, and display enhancements. Ensure all merchandising, testers, and collateral are brand-right, compliant with retailer guidelines, and delivered on time. Promotions, Launches & Events Plan and manage retail promotions, GWPs, sampling campaigns, and key product launches. Coordinate regional or store-level events and education days to support priority initiatives. Work closely with field/education teams to equip them with tools and messaging that drive sell-through. Cross-Functional & Retailer Collaboration Partner with Sales/Account Management to align on retailer needs, objectives, and performance expectations. Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Creative, Digital, Operations, and Education to ensure cohesive 360° campaigns. Manage agencies and external vendors for production, installation, and event support as needed. Project & Budget Management Build and track detailed project timelines, deliverables, and approval flows for all retail programs. Manage retail marketing budgets, including estimates, POs, and reconciliations. Proactively identify risks and develop contingency plans to ensure flawless execution. Performance, Insights & Optimization Monitor performance of retail initiatives (sell-through, traffic, promo lift, event results) and synthesize key learnings. Leverage retailer data, panel data, and field feedback to refine future programs and improve ROI. Prepare clear, concise recaps and recommendations for internal leadership and account partners. You’re skilled at connecting brand storytelling to tangible, compelling retail experiences. Execution-Driven & Detail-Oriented You are highly organized, comfortable managing multiple concurrent programs, and known for your follow-through. You thrive on building structure, timelines, and checklists that keep complex projects on track. You enjoy working cross-functionally and can influence without direct authority. You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure when plans evolve or timelines shift. You are comfortable working with sales and performance data to evaluate results. You can translate numbers into clear narratives and actionable next steps. Qualifications
3–5+ years
of experience in retail marketing, trade/shopper marketing, or channel marketing, preferably in beauty, skincare, or adjacent CPG. Proven experience planning and executing in-store marketing programs and/or consumer events for national retailers. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables. Experience partnering with creative and visual teams on retail assets, displays, and merchandising content. Comfort with performance data and KPIs; ability to derive insights and optimize programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; polished in retailer- and vendor-facing interactions. Passion for skincare, wellness, and the beauty category. Willingness to travel to key markets and retail locations as needed.
