Overview LocaliQ, a part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, is recruiting an Account Executive to build relationships with local businesses, helping them with advertising and digital marketing plans. Key Responsibilities
Partner with clients to provide solutions such as Website, SEO, Local Listings, Reputation & Social Media.
Drive Awareness & Leads through Search Engine Marketing, Social, Display, Video, and Mobile Advertising.
Grow Audience and Connect via Brand Content Solutions and Social Media Marketing.
Manage Leads and Customers using Lead Alert, Engagement and Tracking Tools.
Provide insights through reporting, mobile tools, and data solutions.
Explore emerging technologies such as Virtual and Augmented Reality.
Develop partnerships with large local businesses to reach their goals through integrated marketing plans and media solutions.
Identify customer needs to develop and execute account plans and custom client solutions.
Help businesses maximize their online presence with a custom digital marketing approach.
Leverage USA TODAY NETWORK resources and partners across digital media products.
Success Factors
Pursue and close new business and revenue streams.
Retain, manage, and grow clients in the dynamic digital landscape.
Collaborate within a team to manage the client relationship and revenue.
Develop and execute sales strategies across multiple platforms.
Present the suite of products to business decision makers.
Communicate proactively via phone, video conference, email, and in‑person.
Conduct meetings, presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.
Maintain a specified sales pipeline and strategy for long‑term success.
Perform client check‑ins, upsell/cross‑sell, and address market share concerns.
Utilize Salesforce to record all sales activity.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in Digital Marketing (Google AdWords, Analytics certifications preferred).
1+ years of experience in high acquisition, consultative B2B sales role.
College degree or equivalent education and work experience.
Problem solving, competitive nature, collaborative team spirit.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, liability insurance.
