Position Summary
-Plans and directs the new truck sales and marketing activities of the branch. Plans, organizes, leads, and controls the efforts of new truck sales personnel in the accomplishment of company objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Directs and coordinates all activities of the New Truck Department in accomplishing objectives and defined sales goals. Develops a sales and marketing program to achieve specific sales and net profit target based on current market conditions. Evaluates New Truck Department performance against established targets and standards and take appropriate action as necessary. Appraises performance of New Truck Sales personnel against established standards and targets. Controls new truck inventory turns and gross profit, through analysis of market potential. Develops and trains New Truck Department sales personnel to ensure objectives are met; assists in selling efforts where necessary. Assigns accounts and territories in order to meet market share objectives of the company. Sales and management training. People skills a must. Must be willing to travel. Must possess good work ethics. Must be Company/Team minded.
