Overview

We’re seeking an experienced District Sales Manager to own and grow our rebar business across the Houston metro area, driving profitable growth while maintaining strong customer relationships and operational alignment.
Our Team Our team is built around safety, accountability, and collaboration. We work closely across sales, fabrication, logistics, and operations to ensure customers receive reliable service and consistent execution. In this role, you’ll partner with plant leadership, operations teams, estimators, and customers to align commercial strategy with execution—while keeping safety at the center of everything we do.
Who You Are You are a commercially driven, relationship-focused sales leader with a strong background in rebar, reinforcing steel, or construction materials. You understand how pricing, margins, forecasting, and execution intersect in the rebar business. You thrive in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment, are comfortable owning a territory end-to-end, and take pride in building long-term customer partnerships while delivering results.
What You’ll Do
Own and grow a defined rebar sales territory in the Houston metro area, balancing new business development with existing account management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial contractors, developers, and key decision-makers.
Develop and execute territory sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market conditions.
Manage pricing, margins, and sales forecasts across active and upcoming projects.
Coordinate closely with fabrication plants, yards, logistics, and field teams to support successful job execution.
Maintain visibility into project schedules, delivery requirements, and supply constraints.
Represent the company in customer meetings, jobsite visits, and industry events.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Uphold safety standards and promote a safety-first culture in all customer and field interactions.
Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities Minimum Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
3+ years of experience in rebar, reinforcing steel, or construction materials sales.
Proven experience managing a defined sales territory with revenue and margin responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of rebar products, construction workflows, and project-based sales cycles.
Experience working closely with fabrication and operations teams.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools and sales forecasting.
Regular travel throughout the Houston metro area and jobsite visits.
Ability to access active construction sites and wear required PPE (safety shoes, glasses, hard hats, etc.).
Flexible schedule aligned with customer and project needs.
