Your top priority as a Direct Fulfillment Specialist is to identify, research, negotiate and add new suppliers and products to our vast supplier base while working in partnership with merchants, vendor onboarding teams and Product Information Management (PIM) team to expand Direct fulfillment product assortment. Your positive, professional, roll-up-your-sleeves-to-help attitude contributes to our winning culture and makes sure we leave a lasting impression. Key Responsibilities: Identify, analyze, and quantify opportunities with new and existing vendors and select items/vendors that meet identified criteria such as margin goals, payment terms and EDI compliance requirements. Research competitor websites and work with internal business teams to understand product assortment gaps and expansion opportunities. Negotiate and complete vendor agreements and ensure vendor adherence to required terms and scorecard. Ability to analyze various reports, synthesize information to draw conclusions and make recommendations regarding current vendors and new business opportunities to drive revenue. Develop strong working relationships with merchant teams to drive category and margin growth. Ability to create and foster collaboration and build rapport across an organization. Communicate new brand and product additions to internal teams. Maintains deadlines on deliverables and communicates on an ongoing basis with business partners about any issues. Works closely with vendor onboarding team and Product Information Management team to ensure items/vendors are set-up and published online supporting assortment expansion. Develop and refine processes and tools to efficiently expand Item and vendor base. What you will bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. 1+ years’ work experience in vendor management or related function preferred. Ability to identify, analyze and quantify opportunities for assortment expansion. Ability to make favorable impressions and build relationships working with vendors and internal stakeholders. Retail, e-commerce, catalog experience and knowledge of tools preferred. Knowledge of business intelligence tools including Power BI and MS Excel preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence others and provide change management. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, vendors, company personnel and others.
