About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Employee Relations Advisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of the Advisory team within the Employee Relations function, with a focus on proactively managing operational risk and providing expert advice to business managers on a range of employee matters. This includes handling underperforming employees, involuntary exits, and complex health, safety, and well-being issues. The role involves close partnership with HR business partners, legal, and global heads of ER, and requires a strong background in employee relations and HR business partnering, with a minimum of 8 years' experience. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and Workers' Compensation, and experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Employee Relations Advisor include managing ER cases across the Americas region, interpreting and maintaining ER policies, and providing support to junior ER team members. The role also involves utilizing ER case management systems, applying ER metrics, and interfacing with other Center of Excellence teams. The candidate should be adept at conflict resolution, have strong consultative and coaching skills, and be highly motivated to achieve performance excellence.
