Construction Superintendent
Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all onsite operations for a contract-based agricultural new build. The project involves four pre-engineered metal buildings, including a milking parlor, two free-stall barns, and a calf barn, totaling approximately 157,000 square feet for a growing dairy operation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) projects, with agricultural construction experience considered a strong plus.
Responsibilities
Oversee full onsite coordination of the construction project.
Manage subcontractors effectively to ensure smooth project execution.
Enforce safety standards and protocols on the construction site.
Develop and maintain construction schedules.
Ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
Facilitate the smooth transition from groundbreaking to project closeout.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in the commercial construction industry.
Proven ability to manage pre-engineered metal building projects.
Ability to navigate Procore software.
Experience with agricultural construction projects is a strong plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
OSHA 30 certification is advantageous.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cadillac, MI.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.27/hr.
