Job Title

General Purpose: Perform a variety of duties related to the orderly and timely movement of tee times, controlling the pace of play, and ensuring the golf course policies and dress code are followed; provide high-quality customer service to our golfers, patrons, and fellow employees. Essential Functions: Interact with golfers, patrons, and employees in a friendly, helpful manner. Ensure that all rules and golf course rules and regulations are being followed to create a safer and friendly environment. Keep tee times moving on time and in an orderly manner. Communicate with Golf Pro Shop and keep up-to-date and accurate tee sheets and pace of play. Maintain a reasonable pace of play on the golf course. Communicate with Marshals on the course of any potential pace of play issues. Keep track of golf carts. Light golf course maintenance (sand and seed, bathroom checks, garbage checks, carts, and driving range checks). While on the course, pick up and straighten stakes, cart directional signs, and ropes. Replace or add as necessary. General housekeeping in and around the golf course, pavilion, grounds, and pro shop. Ensure the work area is clean and neat. Ability to interact politely and professionally with patrons, the public, vendors, and employees. Must work as part of a cohesive team. Dependability - must be reliable, responsible, and dependable. Service Orientation - actively looking for ways to help customers and coworkers. Follow the policies and procedures of USSD1 and Dinaland Golf Course. Minimum Qualifications: Sufficient training and knowledge to demonstrate ability or aptitude to learn essential functions of the job, and safely perform duties. Good knowledge of golf and course rules. Must be age 18 or above. Must have UT Drivers license or ability to obtain one to operate golf carts. Must be able to pass a drug screen and consent to a background screen. Work Environment: All work will be at the Dinaland Golf Course. Most work will be outdoors in hot and cold weather. Continuous physical demands include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and reaching. Talking, hearing, and seeing. Common eye, hand, and finger dexterity exist. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, discriminating thinking, and problem-solving. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
