Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven
Walmart Account Manager
to manage and grow the Walmart business in assigned regions. This role requires strong retail execution skills, analytical ability, and a deep understanding of Walmart’s operations, merchandising, forecasting, and promotional planning. You will be the main point of contact for Walmart buyers and lead cross-functional alignment to drive sales, distribution, and profitability. Responsibilities
Account & Retail Management Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart category managers and cross-functional retail teams. Lead Walmart joint business planning (sales, distribution, promotions, and pricing). Manage weekly and monthly forecasts, sales performance, and merchandising execution. Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow sales and market share. Partner with operations, supply chain, marketing, analytics and finance to ensure executional excellence. Coordinate seasonal campaigns, feature placements, and promotional initiatives. Analytics & Forecasting Analyze POS data, inventory health, and sell-through to optimize opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations for assortment, pricing, and promotional strategy. Retail Compliance Ensure compliance with Walmart systems, scorecards, and operational requirements. Drive on-time, in-full execution and resolve deductions or compliance issues. Required Qualifications
3–6+ years in retail account management (preferably mass market or CPG). Demonstrated success managing Walmart or other key retail accounts. Strong analytical skills, including forecasting and business analytics. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to travel as needed (~20–30%). Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Walmart Retail Link, category analytics, and promotional planning tools. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Experience in natural/health & wellness categories is a plus.
