We are looking to add an experienced Purchaser to our team! Our Customer Service & Purchasing Representatives are Real Experts, providing exceptional service and product knowledge to our woodworking professional customers. We supply hardware, but we sell the by-product of our values – our service. We like to refer to our service as Genuine Hardware Hospitality, because our customer service team is ready, reliable and provides personalized support to our customers. In this role you will support all customer activities for order placement, issue resolution and completion of orders for warehouse fulfillment. This position is also responsible for the purchasing and marketing of assigned vendor lines, as the buyer. Includes ongoing communication and interaction with sales, customers, vendors and other departments of company. This is a full time, non-union position. Duties and Responsibilities Purchasing

Supplier Relationship Management- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, ensure quality standards, and secure timely delivery of goods. Market Analysis and Strategy Development- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, assess supplier performance, and source new products and vendors that align with organizational goals. Cost Management and Budgeting- Monitor and manage purchasing budgets, analyze cost structures, and implement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining product quality and service levels. Contract Negotiation- Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring compliance with legal standards and alignment with company policies. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with internal departments such as finance, operations, and logistics to streamline procurement processes and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. Customer Service

Customer Service Representative- Receiving sales orders on the telephone; pro-actively cultivating a loyal following among new and existing customers as well as entering fax/email/web orders. Ecommerce Management– Processing ecommerce orders submitted via EDI and email. Managing claims, cancellations and tracking. Help Desk- Solving customer problems, processing pick-ups, tracing shipments, filing freight claims, and obtaining PODs. Qualifications Include: Minimum 3 years’ Purchasing/Buying experience required, preferably in a resale environment Minimum 3 years’ Customer Service experience required BA/BS preferred Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese and English preferred. Customer focused with an aptitude for working through complex customer issues. Outstanding telephone etiquette and customer focused, professional written communication skills. Self-disciplined and highly motivated. Organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. Positive, out-going personality. Proficient typing (50wpm) and Microsoft Office skills. Compensation

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Competitive starting pay dependent upon candidate's unique set of qualifications. We have great benefits too! Office work environment. Company headquarters also includes a warehouse setting. Hybrid work schedule (home/office) available once employee reaches full proficiency. Physical requirements

Able to do the essential functions of office position. This includes bending, stooping, kneeling and repetitive functions related to standard office - desk role. Hours

Must be available between the hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM. Regular schedules are between 7:30AM and 5:30PM, with weekly meetings scheduled before the work day. Regular overtime required as needed. Direct reports
