Novolex is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging that supports multiple industries including foodservice, restaurant delivery and carryout, food processing, grocery and retail, and industrial sectors. We are looking for a sales professional to work with Commercial Broadline Distribution. This position is a home-based remote sales position. The ideal candidate lives in Chicago, IL or the surrounding area. Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans, both volume and profit, within assigned sales territory. They will have direct one-to-one communication with customers, both present and prospective. They will perform field promotion work and development of new accounts, demonstrate products, and provide assistance in the best application of product. They will assure contracted broker agents are fully trained on the information required to create demand for our commercial portfolio. They will analyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. They will interpret accounts, trends, and records to management and for development of direction to broker agents on opportunities and priorities. They will be responsible for closing the sales transaction and servicing accounts and managing relationships regarding pricing, product warranty claims, receivables, etc. Qualifications

The candidate must be able to travel frequently (40-50%) including some overnight travel as needed. They must demonstrate initiative, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation, and verbal). They must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and have the ability to function independently. They must have a valid driver's license. A BA/BS degree preferred in business, sales/marketing, or related field and 2-3 years of previous sales experience are required. Relevant industry experience is preferred. Company Benefits

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000-$125,000 + bonus + benefits.
