
Senior Solution Engineer
In this high-impact role, you'll guide clients through the sales cycle, delivering engaging demonstrations and articulating the strengths, competitive advantages, and overall value of Oracle's products. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients see how Oracle's solutions can revolutionize their businesses. From product demonstrations to strategic guidance, you'll be a trusted advisor, ensuring our clients understand how our technology meets their unique needs. As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will also have the opportunity to influence product direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and be at the forefront of Oracle's innovation in the hospitality sector. Responsibilities
Develop deep expertise in OPERA and Simphony and leverage this knowledge to deliver impactful demonstrations of Oracle Hospitality solutions. Drive the sales process by prioritizing and managing opportunities in close collaboration with the sales team. Effectively communicate the benefits of Oracle Hospitality applications to a wide range of stakeholders, including line-of-business end users, managers, and C-level executives. Utilize exceptional interpersonal skillsstorytelling, needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, and closing techniquesto influence key decision-makers and close sales. Collaborate with multi-functional departments to gather insights, provide product recommendations, and identify enhancement opportunities for prospects. Educate internal and external customers on Oracle products and applications through engaging presentations and demonstrations. Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry required. Experience in casino, cruise, hotel, and/or food & beverage sectors is a huge plus! 5+ years of sales experience preferred, with experience in working with vendors or existing customers also highly desirable. 3+ years of hands-on experience with OPERA and/or Simphony applications preferred. Strong understanding of system and application design, with the ability to solve complex technical problems in challenging environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including needs analysis, business justification, value positioning, and closing techniques. Ability to travel via car, train, and plane to meet client needs. A BS degree or equivalent experience is required.
