Overview
Real estate law firm is currently hiring an experienced Office Manager. The position is full time Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. This is a permanent role within the company that provides benefits after the successful completion of a 90 day probationary period. Responsibilities
Supervise a small support staff including receptionist, clerks, and processors. Oversee human resources, accounting/bookkeeping and some compliance tasks. Write and post new job descriptions, screen applicants, schedule interviews and verify potential employee credentials. Set up employees on benefits, manage FMLA guidelines, answer employee questions regarding benefits and negotiate annual pricing with carriers. Update employee handbooks as needed. Order office supplies, track expense reports, and negotiate with vendors. Manage documents, contracts and communication with vendors, associates and business partners. Perform basic bookkeeping and payroll (payroll system through ADP). Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable and submit quarterly reports to the CPA. Assist with workflow processes. Qualifications
2+ years of office management experience. Advanced knowledge of HR terminology and understanding of FMLA guidelines. Accounting skills including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. Experience processing payroll. Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience. Degree in Accounting and Finance is strongly encouraged.
