About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Large Format Digital Print Operator

to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating

EFI VUTEK printers

and a strong understanding of large-format print workflows, color management, and finishing processes. You'll play a key role in producing high-quality graphics for signage, retail displays, event environments, and other wide-format applications.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain

VUTEK large format printers

, ensuring optimal performance and print quality.

Prepare, RIP, and manage print files using industry-standard software (e.g., Onyx, Fiery, Caldera).

Inspect finished prints for accuracy, color consistency, and defects.

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on printing equipment.

Manage materials such as roll media, rigid substrates, and inks.

Collaborate with production staff to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflow.

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience

in large-format digital printing.

Required:

Hands-on experience operating

EFI VUTEK

printers (please specify models worked with).

Strong understanding of color profiles, print calibration, and RIP software.

Ability to troubleshoot print, software, and hardware issues.

Comfortable working with a variety of substrates (vinyl, banner, rigid boards, fabric, etc.).

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle large/heavy materials when needed.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Skills

Experience with finishing equipment (cutters, laminators, CNC, etc.).

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

Experience in a fast-paced print production environment.
