About the role
As GTM Narratives Lead at Anthropic, you will own the strategic storytelling that defines how we communicate Claude's capabilities, Anthropic's mission, and the transformative potential of safe AI to enterprise customers and the broader market. You will craft keynote presentations, executive briefings, and core narratives that shape how leaders, customers, and industry stakeholders understand what we're building and why it matters for the future of AI. This role goes beyond traditional messaging—you will set the standard for how we position ourselves in the enterprise AI market while ensuring our narratives reflect Anthropic's commitment to developing AI systems that are safe, steerable, and beneficial. You will translate complex AI capabilities into compelling stories that resonate with enterprise buyers and accelerate our go-to-market success. Responsibilities
Develop and own executive narratives:
Create high-impact keynote presentations, executive briefings, and strategic messaging that articulate Anthropic's vision, competitive differentiation, and value proposition in the enterprise AI market Drive cross-functional GTM alignment:
Partner with product marketing, sales enablement, corporate communications, and executive leadership to ensure cohesive narratives across product launches, industry events, and customer engagements Craft customer transformation stories:
Collaborate with enterprise customers to develop and showcase their AI transformation journeys to inspire prospects, validate our approach, and demonstrate real-world impact Shape competitive positioning and messaging:
Translate sophisticated AI capabilities and safety features into clear, compelling messages for sales teams and executives to differentiate and win deals Lead narrative development without formal authority:
Rally cross-functional teams around messaging frameworks through storytelling excellence, strategic influence, and collaborative leadership Ensure message consistency and quality:
Establish standards and processes for narrative development that maintain consistency while enabling adaptation for different audiences Support major company milestones:
Lead narrative development for significant announcements, funding rounds, partnership launches, and other strategic moments You may be a good fit if you have
10+ years of experience in product marketing, corporate messaging, or strategic communications at enterprise B2B technology companies Proven track record of crafting executive-level presentations and go-to-market narratives that drive measurable business impact Deep understanding of enterprise buyer journeys and how strategic narratives accelerate complex sales cycles Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make complex technical concepts accessible and compelling Experience working effectively with senior stakeholders and providing strategic messaging counsel Strong collaborative skills with experience rallying cross-functional teams around shared messaging without formal reporting authority Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilities Strong candidates may also have
Experience in AI/ML, enterprise software, or other cutting-edge technology markets Background working with highly regulated industries where trust, safety, and compliance messaging is critical Track record of successful competitive positioning in crowded, rapidly evolving markets Experience developing narratives for developer audiences as well as traditional enterprise buyers Understanding of AI safety principles and the ability to communicate complex safeguards in business terms Experience with account-based marketing and supporting enterprise sales processes Background in crisis communications or managing sensitive messaging situations What you'll be shaping
Your narratives will become the foundation for major market moments—product launches, industry conferences, customer success stories, and competitive differentiation. You will define how the enterprise AI market understands Anthropic's unique approach to building safe, beneficial AI while ensuring messaging drives pipeline and revenue growth.
