We're searching for a Vice President of Sales to lead revenue growth and market expansion for a San Francisco boutique catering company known for exceptional culinary experiences and high-touch service This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping sales strategy, expanding the company’s footprint in the San Francisco Bay Area and nationally, and leading a high-performing sales organization. The VP of Sales will balance strategic business development with hands-on leadership—driving new corporate revenue, cultivating ultra–high-end social clients, and strengthening relationships with top-tier event partners. How You’ll Make an Impact: This section describes how the role will contribute to growth and client relationships in the high-end catering and events space.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s goals across the SF Bay Area and national high-end event markets

Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including outbound sales, proposals/inside sales, and account management functions

Establish performance metrics, reporting, and accountability structures to ensure consistent sales effectiveness

Partner closely with the CEO and COO to align sales priorities with operational capacity, brand positioning, and long-term vision

Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new corporate accounts, including Fortune 500 companies, experiential agencies, luxury brands, and major event producers

Build and grow a curated portfolio of ultra high-end social clients, including private families, philanthropies, and VIP event planners

Represent the company's at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

Oversee high-value proposals, ensuring excellence in presentation, pricing strategy, and alignment with the company's culinary and service standards

Maintain strong visibility with top clients to drive retention, repeat business, and exceptional client satisfaction

Qualifications

A seasoned sales leader with 6+ years of progressive leadership experience in catering, hospitality, luxury events, experiential marketing, or a related premium service industry

A proven revenue generator with a strong network and a track record of closing and growing high-value corporate and luxury accounts

An effective people leader experienced in building, mentoring, and scaling sales teams

Strategic yet hands-on, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high expectations

An exceptional communicator and negotiator with refined relationship-building skills

Highly organized, data-driven, and results-oriented, with strong forecasting and pipeline management capabilities

Willing and able to travel domestically as needed
