About the Role
MediaMonks is looking to a Senior Creative to add to the global superband of creatives. In this role, you’ll provide our clients with creative decks, ideas and direction, bringing forth award‑winning products and web campaigns for one of the world's leading tech brands. We are looking for a conceptual thinker and creative leader who is native to the worlds of both digital web and artificial intelligence. You are a storyteller, a technologist, and a taste‑maker who understands that a great prompt can be as powerful as a great headline. As a Creative Director at Monks, you will be the driving force behind our creative output, translating our clients’ complex technologies into compelling, human‑centric stories. You will lead teams of designers, writers, and other designers, guiding them to create work that is not only beautiful and effective but also genuinely innovative. You are both a visionary who can imagine the future of brand expression and a hands‑on leader who can guide a team to bring that vision to life, pixel by pixel, prompt by prompt. Responsibilities
Engage projects for a living and relay responsibilities to others once the ball is rolling in the right (creative) direction. Work together with the business team to identify the local market’s need for our services. Own the creative execution of projects, seeing them through from pitch to final delivery. Collaborate with creatives, copywriters, designers, animators, developers as well as with PMs, operations managers and a lot more talent from all over the world. Create not just what the client asked for but what their needs, producing beautifully designed decks that are in line with the project’s objectives and requirements. Work on multiple projects at once, go above and beyond each brief to push what’s possible on both a creative and technical level. Get the right message across to the right audience(s) through programmatic targeting or dynamic content. Bring top‑notch production thinking to the table and provide creative consultation for cutting‑edge campaigns. Operate as part of a global team, working in one virtual office across 12 locations with an in‑house team of 3000+ Monks. Pitch directly to clients, shaping and selling concepts for digital work from rich media to display ads, brand content, social media campaigns and film production. About You
The essentials
5+ years of experience in creative leadership at a top‑tier digital agency or tech company, with a proven track record of leading teams and shipping excellent work. Portfolio demonstrating beautiful campaigns, true conceptual thinking, deep understanding of digital platforms and curiosity for technology and new interaction forms. Fluent in modern AI practices, with hands‑on experience with generative AI platforms (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Runway, Pika) and a strong understanding of LLMs. A natural leader—articulate, empathetic, and able to inspire a team to do the best work of their careers. A systems thinker able to translate complex technical concepts into simple, powerful creative ideas. A modest ego and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, working alongside demanding and innovative clients. Good at producing buzzworthy ideas and presenting them in compelling decks. Takes ownership of entire campaigns, providing leadership across all project stages and managing a wider creative team. Leads remote teams with clear creative direction and ownership over their projects without force. Can handle fast‑paced pitches and stubbornly push running projects to perfection. Confident leading digital, social, platform and website work, including installations. Strong pitching and presentation skills, able to represent Monks by showcasing cases and culture to clients. Can successfully direct work at a distance in a global team. At Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive. We proactively work to design hiring processes that promote equity and inclusion while mitigating bias. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve. We welcome and encourage qualified applicants from all backgrounds, who are excited to contribute to our mission. This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then‑current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time. What We Offer
Excellent, full coverage medical, dental, and vision insurance. Generous PTO and 15 company‑wide holidays. 401k with company contribution. Paid parental leave. Work‑life balance with an emphasis on personal well‑being. Career growth in a disruptor space and entrepreneurial opportunities within the Monks network. A globally diverse and inclusive culture with employee resource groups such as S4 Melanin, Pride.Monks, Cultura.Monks, and more. Authentic commitment to DEI efforts and sustainable growth.
