Key job responsibilities Own and drive technical strategy for travel and hospitality customers, influencing their long‑term business and technology decisions by demonstrating how adoptingugins new technological capabilities can impact their business outcomes.

Design and deliver large‑scale architectures and technical solutions that solve significantly complex problems, creating new patterns and methodologies that can be leveraged across the organization.

Serve as a trusted advisor to customer leadership, asking strategic questions they aren’t asking themselves and guiding them through technology transformation journeys.

Lead cross‑organizational initiatives requiring consensus and collaboration among many teams for successful solution delivery, effectively influencing and force‑multiplying.

Mentor other Solutions Architects, sharing expertise and best practices while fostering growth and development within the team.

Your day begins with a strategic planning session with your customer’s technical leadership team, where you’re guiding discussions around their cloud architecture roadmap. Throughout the day, you’ll transition between stakeholder meetings to gather critical business requirements, technical deep‑dive sessions to solve complex architectural challenges, and internal collaborative sessions where you mentor fellow Solutions Architects. You’ll spend time researching emerging technologies and crafting architectural recommendations that balance business needs with technical feasibility.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent

Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences and at C‑level, including training, workshops, publications

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent

Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent

Experience in cloud architecture and CXO level engagement

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
