Are you a natural storyteller with a "strong pen" and a hunger for the financial markets? Randstad is supporting a financial firm who is looking for a Junior Investment Writer to help bring complex investment stories to life. This isn't just a copy-editing role-it's an opportunity to act as a "ghostwriter" for industry experts. You will partner directly with Investment Directors to unbox market trends, craft compelling white papers, and manage the full lifecycle of digital content. Whether you are blogging about the economy, active on FinTwit, or have produced institutional-caliber research during your education, we want to see your voice!

Responsibilities

Content Development & Writing:

Act as a lead "storyteller" by drafting original white papers, market insights, digital articles, and institutional emails. You will translate complex research into compelling narratives that align with business goals and brand standards across both print and digital channels. Full-Cycle Project Management:

Manage the end-to-end production process- moving pieces from a rough outline and "scaffolded" narrative to a finished PDF or digital launch. This includes updating recurring materials with current statistics and fresh market tone. Research & Analysis:

Conduct deep-dive research using online tools, industry databases, and internal libraries to support writing assignments. You will perform basic R&D in Excel to create data-driven exhibits and visual charts for the design team. Expert Collaboration:

Interface directly with Investment Directors and senior business leaders to extract research and "bring stories to life." You will act as a ghostwriter, capturing the voice of subject matter experts for various field-facing audiences. Compliance & Quality Control:

Navigate the firm's editorial and legal processes by managing disclosures, sanitizing data results, and collaborating with copy editors to ensure all content is "client-ready" and meets strict regulatory guidelines.
