Our Polyamides (Business Unit EMS-GRIVORY) are used in applications in the market segments of automotive, industrial and consumer goods, electronics, healthcare, optics and packaging...products you are using in everyday life.
If you have experience in the plastics/polymers industry selling to industrial and consumer goods areas that would be great.
However we are really looking for a sales Hunter who has dealt heavily with Industrial & Consumer goods sector and is comfortable in a longer sales cycle, relationship based environment.
This position is virtually based but we prefer the candidate to be located in Colorado.
The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our customers. You will focus on growing and developing existing clients, as well as generating new business by identifying, implementing and executing new strategies.
Position Summary
Key Account Management and New Business Development for the I&C Segments of EMS-GRIVORY America.
This position will be primarily focused in all potential focus areas within the I&C business including all relevant segments including the light vehicle and heavy truck market.
Assists in the establishment of Marketing Concept for the I&C Segment, long-term business plans, and 3-Year Plans and 1-Year Plans for this segments.
Establishes Sales Project List/Project Pipeline as the basis for growth of the I&C Segments.
Responsibility to implement and achieve the Sales Plans
Controls the appropriate budget.
Job Duties/Tasks
Identifies, manages and commercializes new business in the Industrial and Consumer Segments with EMS-Grivory product portfolio.
Achieves new business development targets and marketing strategies required by management
Provide input for long-term, 3-Year Plans and 1-Year Plans for Industrial and Consumer Segment.
Coordinates New Business Development and Key Account activities with Key Account Managers in Europe and Asia
Ensures and maintains a strong relationship with customers and prospects.
Ensures effective market coverage to achieve maximum sales and profit results
Analyzes market opportunities and develops programs to ensure realization of plans and recommends corrective measures where needed
Communicates any market intelligence which affects competitiveness and customer risks
Participates in Trade Shows / Exhibitions where appropriate.
Ensures accurate and timely reporting of customer calls, expenses, itineraries, monthly reports, etc.
Basic Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology and / or business related field and / or relevant practical experience.
Knowledge of one or more of the following market segments Medical, Consumer Goods, ,Energy, Plumbing, HVAC, Agriculture, Water Treatment, Furniture, Lighting, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic and Food industries is preferred.
Knowledge of sales processes.
Experience of project management and additional understanding of technical service and application development.
Excellent communication and social skills.
Preferred Experience
Minimum of 5 years relevant B2B experience in the field of sales and business development.
Knowledge of polymers including polyamides ideally, injection molding process, injection mold design or product design.
Analytical with good judgement, business sense and problem solving skills.
A strong negotiator able to identify customers’ needs and be persuasive when presenting ideas.
A team player able to work interdependently.
