
Regional Sales Manager – Foodservice (NJ/NY Metro)
We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to grow foodservice sales across the NJ/NY Metro market. This field-based role drives profitable growth through strategic account management, customer partnerships, and execution of sales initiatives across a broad foodservice portfolio.
Responsibilities
Own assigned foodservice accounts with full P&L responsibility, including volume, profit targets, and forecasting.
Build and manage corporate-level customer relationships through regular business reviews and strategic planning.
Identify growth opportunities through new product introductions, share expansion, margin improvement, and portfolio optimization.
Lead customer presentations, offering category insights, product recommendations, and promotional strategies.
Manage broker networks, distributor relationships, and local, regional, and chain accounts.
Negotiate contracts, trade programs, and marketing initiatives that deliver mutual value.
Provide competitive market intelligence and feedback on product launches.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales operations, customer service, operations, quality, transportation, and pricing teams.
Qualifications
5+ years of foodservice or food & beverage sales experience.
Strong understanding of distributor strategy; manufacturing experience a plus.
Required experience working with food broker sales agencies.
Proven strengths in negotiation, insight selling, analytics, planning, and communication.
Home-based role with up to 50% travel across the NJ/NY Metro region.
