This is a hybrid position going into the Boston, MA office 2x per week (Tuesday and Thursday).

Position Summary Rhapsody is seeking a high‑caliber commercial operator to partner directly with the Chief Revenue Officer and help shape and execute the company’s go‑to‑market strategy during a period of rapid growth.

This role operates with authority through influence and acts as a proxy for the CRO in key forums when the CRO is not present, ensuring priorities remain clear, decisions are made, and follow‑through happens. You will work across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps to maintain momentum, surface tradeoffs, and drive disciplined execution.

This is not a passive coordination role. When initiatives stall, data is unclear, or decisions linger, you are expected to step in using judgment, data, and persistence to re‑establish forward motion.

Job Responsibilities

Act as a Proxy for the CRO — Represent the CRO’s priorities, perspective, and decision intent in cross‑functional forums.

Shape Commercial Strategy with Data — Use performance data, pipeline insights, customer trends, and market signals to inform commercial strategy; synthesize inputs into clear strategic recommendations; help define focus and priorities to support a fast‑scaling revenue organization.

Maintain Momentum on Commercial Priorities — Ensure top initiatives are clearly defined, sequenced, and progressing; apply sustained pressure to move work forward; surface risks and stalled decisions early with recommendations for resolution.

Force Clarity and Decisions — Structure discussions to drive decisions, push for clear ownership and timelines, and maintain visibility into decisions made and pending actions.

Operate as a Cross‑Functional Integrator — Work across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps; influence outcomes by clarifying tradeoffs, aligning stakeholders, and driving follow‑through; resolve friction through credibility, judgment, and persistence.

Own Commercial Operating Cadence — Design and run key forums (QBRs, pipeline deep dives, initiative reviews); ensure meetings result in decisions, actions, and accountability; create lightweight mechanisms to track progress and outcomes.

Support Executive & Board Readiness — Prepare the CRO for executive, board, and key customer interactions; develop concise narratives and materials that explain performance, trends, and priorities; anticipate questions and shape the “so what” behind the numbers.

6–10 years of experience in corporate development, strategy, management consulting, or similar high‑rigor roles.

Experience in enterprise B2B or healthcare is a plus, but not required.

Highly analytical; comfortable using data to inform strategy and decision‑making.

Embrace AI‑enhanced workflows: Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to increase efficiency, improve decision‑making, and explore new ways to augment work with emerging technologies.

Trusted to represent senior leadership perspective when they are not in the room.

Comfortable exercising authority through influence with senior stakeholders.

Bias toward action over perfect information.
