Demonstrating a friendly, positive attitude and delivering excellent customer service
Taking orders over the phone and in person
Addressing customer concerns
Cash handling
Upselling
Making Domino’s high-quality pizzas
Food and portion control
Hygiene and food safety
Food preparation
General cleaning duties
Additional general job duties include:
Operate all equipment
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler
Prepare product
Receive and process telephone orders
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
Clean equipment and facility daily
Communication & Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders
Essential Functions / Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Eye–hand coordination to perform precise movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Work Conditions
Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks
In-store temperatures range from 36°F (cooler) to 90°F and above in some areas
Sudden changes in temperature in work areas and outside
Fumes from food odors
Exposure to cornmeal dust
Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler
Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
Sensing & Temperaments
Talking and hearing on telephone
Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
Depth perception
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments
Physical Requirements Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
Walking: For short distances and durations
Lifting: Deliveries may weigh up to 50 pounds; cases may be up to 3' x 1.5'
Carrying: Large cans weighing ~3 lb 7 oz; pizza sauce up to 30 lb; trays of dough ~12 lb per tray
Pushing: Move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 pounds
Climbing: Occasional stairs or ladders for signs, walls, or maintenance
Stooping/Bending: Occasional; front counter and ingredients stocking
Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas
Reaching: Continuous up, down, and forward
Hand tasks: Eye–hand coordination essential; frequent use of hands
