Overview
JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate Technical Designer will assist in measuring, fitting, and grading product to create a finished technical package for factory direct programs. Responsibilities
Create technical packs based on direction given during handoffs from the design and buying teams. Assist with evaluating development samples to ensure construction, fit, and material standard specifications are met. Assist with updates to tech packs. Communicate issues related to quality and fit with overseas factory partners and internal stakeholders. Secondary Responsibilities
Assist with product quality audits. Other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exercises sound judgement and decision-making abilities Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Strong organizational skills. Detail oriented Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Able to be on-site three days per week in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Design or related field preferred, or 5+ years of technical design experience is required. Minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in technical design or a related field, is preferred. Physical Requirements

Work is generally sedentary, with no specific need for physical coordination or effort. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May require physical effort associated with using the computer to access information, or occasional standing, walking, lifting needed to carry out everyday activities. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift supplies of up to 25 pounds. Some travel may be required.
