General Summary

Following established policies and department procedures, assist the team of Mortgage Loan Processors with basic support duties of processing a mortgage loan. Will be required to place and track various orders, validate information received, document and update status of the loan file. Essential Functions

Ensure timely and accurate processing of all orders such as appraisal, verifications, etc. as requested by the Loan Processor. Input and document loan information into the system for processing. Respond to inquiries and follow up with key individuals to resolve problems. Follow up with MLO's on outstanding loan conditions. Support the Mortgage Loan Processors in preparing files for processing and closing. Escalate processing issues to the immediate supervisor or manager for guidance and resolutions. Qualifications

Education: Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience. Experience: Corporate work experience and some mortgage lending or banking experience with good knowledge of lending regulations and loan processing in a multi-state lending environment is strongly preferred. Skills/Ability: Organized and detail oriented. Able to develop working knowledge of Bank's credit policies and approval process for assigned loans. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high production environment. Organizing and problem-solving skills; good written and verbal communication skills; must be able to adapt well to a fast paced and constantly changing business environment; PC proficient at the intermediate level; demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment; demonstrated ability to provide good client service; bilingual English/Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus. $20.19 - $25.96 / hour Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Benefits and Policies
