R10083838 Account Manager (Open) – Toledo, OH (Retail shop). Airgas is hiring an Account Manager in Toledo, OH. Responsibilities

Manage the sales process and drive profitable sales growth within an assigned sales territory to both existing and new Airgas customers. Meet and exceed corporate and regional objectives for profitable sales growth, accounts receivable management, and customer retention within the territory. Develop and execute sales plans utilizing Airgas' directives to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts. Qualify and pursue sales leads. Cultivate customer relationships by developing knowledge of the customer's business and establishing a consultative relationship. Engage customers by linking their business priorities to the Airgas value proposition. Prepare sales proposals by quoting pricing, establishing credit terms, and estimating delivery dates based on Airgas production/delivery schedules and logistics. Stay current with industry insights, Airgas product mixes, and monitor competition by gathering marketplace intelligence on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. Partner with internal resources to achieve growth objectives and maintain clear communication with internal departments regarding customer successes, opportunities, and developments. Maintain and submit sales reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analyses) as required by the District Manager through SAP. Actively review and manage existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to minimize Airgas working capital investment and financial risk. ________________________ Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a science, business or related field required. In lieu of degree, up to 4 years of additional related experience may be accepted. Minimum of 3 years of outside business-to-business sales experience with solution-selling concepts and a proven history of managing customers in a defined territory. Knowledge of customer segmentation and ability to prioritize high-value customers. Proven success using a consultative sales approach to provide multiple layers of value and a mix of sales solutions and products. Proven ability to leverage knowledge of the customer's business, macro- and microeconomic trends, and industry opportunities. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of SAP is a plus. Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, industrial gas / welding supply sales is a plus. _________________________ Benefits
