About the Opportunity We're currently seeking a
Project Designer
to join one of our clients a leading interior architecture and workplace design firm recognized for creating forward-thinking environments that empower people to thrive.
In this on‑site role based in
Houston, TX , you'll contribute to the creative and technical development of interior architecture projects from concept through completion. What You'll Do
Develop and refine design concepts
that reflect the client's goals and story, including material palettes, programming, and project design criteria.
Support and collaborate on interior design efforts , contributing to design direction and maintaining active engagement with clients and project teams.
Coordinate the integration of basic engineering systems
within the overall design to ensure functionality and alignment with project intent.
Review and ensure the accuracy and clarity of design documentation , following firm standards and established checklists.
Participate in design reviews, charrettes, and pin‑ups , sharing ideas and incorporating feedback to strengthen design outcomes.
Collaborate with clients, partners, and consultants
throughout schematic and design development phases to maintain alignment and project consistency.
Contribute to a positive studio culture
by mentoring junior staff, supporting team activities, and keeping open communication with leadership.
Stay curious and informed about design trends, materials, and products , attending internal and external industry events to expand knowledge and network.
What You Bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA or NCARB‑accredited school.
8+ years of related experience in architecture or interior design, with exposure to commercial or workplace interiors.
Pursuit of professional license (Architecture or Interior Design) strongly preferred.
Sustainable certification (LEED, FitWell, or WELL Building) is a plus.
Strong creative and conceptual thinking with the ability to translate business goals into design solutions.
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
A professional, proactive mindset with curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
Must work in the office 3 days a week or more.
